Whiplash Auto AccidentEven minor fender benders can be the source for significant pain.  The mass of a motor vehicle contributes to the force experienced through the joints of the spine. We do our best to help you through the entire recovery process, from acute pain to physical rehab and the prevention of future injuries in the same area. If you choose to ignore the pain and skip the rehab, you may pay the price later with chronic pain and/or arthritis. Our combination of safe and alternative therapies for whiplash is unparalleled.

What is whiplash?

Whiplash occurs whenever there is excessive force put through a joint and its supporting ligaments. The injury can be complicated when impact occurs while the head or body is in rotation (for example looking in the rearview mirror when the car is hit). The result is tearing to the ligaments and muscles in the area of the neck or back. Symptoms may involve pain, stiffness, headaches, vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), or even TMJ disorder. While many people don't feel pain for the first 48 hours, is vital to seek care and address the sustained injuries as soon as possible. Long-term recovery and maintaining full active range of motion is the goal.
