john wylie mug shotHello, I'm John Wylie - Certified Hypnotherapist.

In my 20s I was awakened to the power of hypnosis to help and heal. I remember being profoundly impressed as my girlfriend’s mom told me how hypnosis had saved her from horrible cluster” headaches. She had tried everything conventional medicine had to offer and the misery of those headaches had nearly driven her to suicide. Hypnosis actually saved her life.

Like nearly everyone, back then I mostly thought of hypnosis as entertainment. Her experience opened my eyes to the amazing truth that hypnosis can be used as a powerful way to change and heal like nothing else can.

Later, while going to college and working a sales job, I remembered what I’d learned about hypnosis. With some practice I used it to help me become a better student and salesperson. Soon I was on the Dean’s List and was a top producer at my job.

In short order hypnosis became one of my life’s passions. I read whatever I could find about it. I learned and practiced and, in time, I saved up some money, used a couple credit cards, and in 2005 I went on my first comprehensive hypnosis training at a well-respected school in Washington state.

It was at that first training that I fell in love with the idea of helping other people improve their lives through the power of hypnotherapy. That has been my life’s passion ever since. Since then, I have gone to many more trainings. I've learned complementary tools. I’ve learned from recognized masters. I’ve read hundreds of books… I’ve even written my own. I’ve conducted trainings, taught my own students, helped countless client's overcome every problem under the sun, and honed my hypnotherapy skills over nearly 20 years.
Now, clients come to me because I helped a friend or family member or they see that I have far and away more 5-star Google reviews than anyone else and they tell me they want to work with me because I’m the best. I don’t know about that, but I certainly always do my best. And I've seen amazing things happen.
And I love being a part of my clients' positive changes. That's why I work to become even better, because I love helping people make positive, lasting changes in their life. I want to be the very best I can be at doing that!
