Oxygen is vital in the healing process and in how the body fights inflammation. Often times, more oxygen is required than what our body is supplying. That is where prolozone injections come in. This safe and effective treatment delivers the much needed oxygen to any area that needs help in healing.  There is no other injection therapy like it.

Relief is achieved by injecting a natural, nutrient rich solution at the site of pain and then followed with an injection of ozone (concentrated oxygen gas). Ozone is naturally occurring in the human body. The procedure is minimally invasive and there are few risks because the skin is sterilized and ozone is antimicrobial.  When paired with Peptides or PRP, this treatment can do wonders for arthritis and chronic pain.

Dr. Noah Edvalson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ozone Therapy (FAAO), an Academy Prolozone Therapist (APT), and one of the only practitioners in Idaho to have completed the Advanced Prolozone Therapy training with both Drs. Frank Shallenberger and Robert Rowen. Make sure you choose someone that is trained and credentialed by the American Academy of Ozone Therapy.

What is Prolozone?

Prolozone is a natural and safe alternative to steroid injections for pain, arthritis, and infections.  It is grouped together with Platelet Rich Plasma in a category known as "Regenerative Injection Therapies" for its ability to help the wounded tissue heal.

    "Hi Caryn and Doc. Noah,

Everything is going good for me and my knees.  If not for you doc. Noah, I wouldn't be able to walk.  I would have had to get knee replacements by now.  But thanks to God, you and Prolozone I don't have to have surgery.  My knee's feel great and I'm able to enjoy my life.  Hope everything is going good for you."  - YH Baker City, OR

"I came into Dr. Noah about 4 years ago for prolozone shots in my knees. I was diagnosed with bone on bone osteoarthritis in both knees and one knee was bone on bone. For the last four years I have had prlozone shots in my knees and the treatment lasts anywhere from 3 months to 6 months. This treatment has kept me from having knee replacement . I most recently was extremely tired and was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus. I had really not been feeling good for about 6 months and by this time I was also diagnosed with an enlarged spleen. The medical Doctors did not seem to have any type of treatment so I have been receiving IV Vitamin C Drips and I have finished half of my IV Blood Irridation treatments and what I discovered is that I had not really felt good for about a year. Through the IV Blood Irridation I noticed that for the first time in about a year I was starting to have some energy and feeling like a new person. I would highly reccomend treatment through Dr. Noah to become the person you were meant to be. Dr. Noah is comppasionate and really cares about his patients." Sandra H. - Eagle, ID

Additional Info about Prolozone at the ICIM

While sometimes there can be some mild swelling at the site or stiffness that may last anywhere from an hour to a couple of days, there is relatively little discomfort associated with this treatment. We strive to make your experience a positive one, as well as, to answer any questions you may have.

At this point, prolozone injections are not covered by insurance, so contact our office for more information. We do recommend at least three treatments to see optimum results.
