Pain in the sacroiliac (SI) joint can be debilitating. This happens when the joint between the sacrum and the ileum bones of the pelvis become inflamed. It can be brought on by many things and is a common occurrence in pregnancy.

The pain that is caused by an inflamed SI joint is much different than lower back pain. Generally, it will hurt near the top of the buttocks, usually on one side. You may find it difficult to move the leg or sit. Rarely is the motor function interrupted in the leg or numbness reported in association with an SI joint condition.

Our clinic works closely with each individual to develop the appropriate treatment plan to provide the most effective recovery. We would like to invite you to contact our office for an appointment to set up the quickest and most effective road to your recovery.
